Primarily used to transport people across level surfaces to a place of safety, our 4-Wheel Plus Transit Wheelchair is similar to those used by hospitals and ambulance services and can be used to carry patients either up or down the stairs. Note: A minimum of 2 operators are required to carry this patient transit chair but additional may be necessary depending on the weight to be lifted. Because of the lifting and manual handling involved, it is recommended that a full Risk Assessment and Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP) should be carried out prior to purchase.<\/p>\n
