We Donated A Defibrillator to Armidale Council!
Armidale Council in Regional New South Wales, Australia recently had its defibrillator stolen from Rologas Fields, a popular sports and recreational facility located in the town. This defibrillator was an important piece of life-saving equipment and vitally important to the local community.
Upon hearing the news that this defibrillator was stolen, we decided to donate a HeartSine samaritan 500P Defibrillator to the affected community. Replacing this defibrillator quickly and efficiently ensured the community would continue to have access to life-saving equipment in the event of an emergency.
At Aero Healthcare we’re committed to ensuring that communities across Australia have access to the lifesaving equipment they need. We have a range of defibrillators and cabinets to suit a variety of locations and uses, including secure cabinet options like the CardiAct Connect range that include alarms, tracking, and even security cameras. Defibrillators that are located in high theft areas should be well secured to ensure they’re operable in the event of an emergency. While defibrillator theft is not common, it’s important to make sure that these life-saving tools are ready when they are most needed.
For those in New South Wales, a register of AEDs can be accessed here providing a map of available AEDs. To add AEDs to the register please access the Service NSW AED Register Here
