To maintain compliance with strict industry standards and regulations regarding the handling and transportation of dangerous goods, there will be a surcharge for orders containing Dangerous Goods.

An order will be considered a “Dangerous Goods Order” if it contains 1 or more items with a dangerous goods classification. The surcharge calculation applies to the shipping method and total value of the whole order, the value of the dangerous goods does not affect the calculation of the surcharge.

The Dangerous Goods surcharge for drop shipped orders will be $5 regardless of the total order value.

The Dangerous Goods surcharge for non drop shipped orders with a total order value under the Free Freight threshold will be $5.

The Dangerous Goods surcharge for non drop shipped orders with a total order value over the Free Freight threshold will be $30.

Where dangerous goods are shipped in limited quantities as permitted by the Australian Dangerous Goods Code, no surcharge will be applied.
