The HeartSine® Samaritan® PAD 500P is a semi-automatic defibrillator that delivers a potentially life-saving shock for someone suffering from sudden cardiac arrest. Offering unique CPR Advisor feedback technology, the 500P gives real-time feedback to the rescuer with defibrillation that maximises the chances of survival! By analysing heart rhythm, it can decipher whether an electrical shock is required. The device will prompt the rescuer to press a button that will administer the shock. If a normal heart rate is detected, the device will not be able to administer the shock.

• CPR Advisor function, which guides the rescuer through the process of effective CPR. Not only will voice prompts guide you through the process of defibrillation, but this device will tell you to “Push Harder” or whether you are doing “Good Compressions” during CPR – all based on real cardiac output (real blood flow). Unlike other devices, advice is not based solely on the depth of compression but on impedance changes of the casualty. This gives the patient the best chance of survival and the rescuer the assurance they have done everything they can.
• Compact, lightweight, and robust. IP56-rated protection against dust and water ingress. At just 1.1 kg and with one of the most compact footprints, this Samaritan® AED is easily transported. Can be stored in a suitable outdoor cabinet for easy public access.
• Designed for adult and paediatric use (from 1- to 8-years-old or weighing less than 25 kg or 55 lbs) and offers an easy-to-use system for individuals with limited defibrillator experience. For children, a Paediatric Pad-Pak™ is available (order code: PAD-PAK-04).
• Advanced electrode technology and SCOPE (Self-Compensating Output Pulse Envelope) biphasic technology, a low energy escalating waveform that automatically adjusts for differences in patient impedance.
• System Status Ready Indicator flashes green to show that the defibrillator is operational and ready for use. This device automatically runs a self-test each week. If an automatic self-test identifies a fault or issue requiring attention, the unit provides visual and audible alerts.
• Includes a soft-touch carry case, and a unique Pad-Pak™ system combining battery and electrode pads, making replacement seamless. Instead of managing multiple components, only one needs to be replaced every four years from date of manufacture.
