HeartSine® Samaritan® Defibrillator – simple, user-friendly, lifesaving

The HeartSine® Samaritan® PAD 500P is a semi-automatic defibrillator that delivers a potentially life-saving shock for someone suffering from sudden cardiac arrest. It also gives CPR advice in real-time to assist the rescuer with defibrillation. By analysing heart rhythm, it can decipher whether an electric shock is required. CPR Advisor function, which guides the rescuer through the process of effective CPR and will prompt the rescuer to press a button that will administer the shock if a normal heart rate isn't detected. It can advise on compression pressure and speed based on casualty feedback from the heart. Unlike other devices, advice is not based solely on the depth of compression but on impedance changes of the casualty. This gives the patient the best chance of survival and the rescuer the assurance they have done everything they can. Its advanced technology is balanced against the demands of real-world use.

HeartSine® Gateway – connectivity made easy

To support AED (Automated External Defibrillator) programme managers like yourself, the HeartSine® Gateway has been designed to monitor the status of a single or multiple fleet of HeartSine® defibrillators. Through LIFELINKcentral™ AED Program Manager or LIFENET®, HeartSine® Samaritan® public access defibrillators like this model with a HeartSine® Gateway attached can communicate via Wi-Fi® connection wherever it is. The programme supports managers who look after single or multiple locations by providing remote readiness information about this particular AED. This allows you to keep a track of any maintenance, repairs or notifications of this connected AED and other HeartSine® AED devices that are also remotely connected for ease of monitoring.
