Design and Application
The SAM® XT is designed to be used on casualties with injured extremities, accommodating a circumferential range of 5.5 in - 35 in (13.9 cm - 88.9 cm). It is intended to occlude arterial blood flow to control life-threatening hemorrhage, making it an essential tool in emergency situations.

The SAM® XT Tourniquet simplifies application with its "CLICK, TWIST, and SECURE" method. This design requires fewer adjustments, reducing the variation in application and ensuring consistent results. The TRUFORCE™ Buckle technology auto-locks at a predetermined circumferential force, eliminating slack and enhancing effectiveness.
