Requirements
The Finance Administration Officer is primarily responsible for providing support to the Finance Team. The duties of the role includes:
Processing supplier invoices in accounts payable automation system including approvals, coding, document handling and follow up with internal approvers.
- Maintain vendor records in business systems
- Working closely with procurement team where prepayment is required on purchase orders.
- Prepare approved invoices for payment to be sent for bank processing.
- Review statements received from suppliers and perform reconciliation of supplier accounts.
- Assist with internal and external AP queries.
- Assist Accounts Receivable officer with follow up of overdue accounts
- Setup of new customer accounts in business systems.
- Data management and reporting.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience with accounts payable/receivable is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail, being able to work to deadlines and time management skills are essential.
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritise and multitask with an organised work methodology is advantageous.
