The HeartSine® Samaritan® PAD 500P is a semi-automatic defibrillator that delivers a potentially life-saving shock for someone suffering from sudden cardiac arrest. Offering unique CPR Advisor feedback technology, the 500P gives real-time feedback to the rescuer with defibrillation that maximises the chances of survival! By analysing heart rhythm, it can decipher whether an electrical shock is required. The device will prompt the rescuer to press a button that will administer the shock. If a normal heart rate is detected, the device will not be able to administer the shock.

• CPR Advisor function, which guides the rescuer through the process of effective CPR. It can advise on compression pressure and speed based on casualty feedback from the heart. Unlike other devices, advice is not based solely on the depth of compression but on impedance changes of the casualty. This gives the patient the best chance of survival and the rescuer the assurance they have done everything they can.
• Compact, lightweight, and robust. It provides high protection against dust (IP56 rated) and water ingress and can be stored in an external cabinet for easy public access.
• Designed for adult and paediatric use (from 1 year onwards) and offers an easy-to-use system for individuals with limited defibrillator experience.
• Includes a soft-touch carry case, and a unique Pad-Pak™ system combining battery and electrode pads, making replacement seamless. Instead of managing multiple components, only one needs to be replaced every four years.
