This Pro Bleed Control Kit includes the patented RapidStop® Tourniquet which represents a revolutionary haemostatic trauma solution with military-grade ruggedness, all age suitability, superior single-handed application and the fastest average occlusion time. A severed brachial, radial, or ulnar artery, presents a limited window of time before the decreasing blood pressure renders the injured victim unconscious. Shock can set in even sooner. Achieving full occlusion in the shortest time possible is critical. Faster application means faster stabilisation, increasing chances of survival. Includes a Russell Chest Seal® that covers penetrating chest wounds, allowing air to escape the pleural cavity without re-entry, minimising lung collapse and aiding re-inflation. It adheres for many hours and remains comfortable for up to 24 hours. The Celox™ Haemostatic Z-Fold Gauze stops bleeding from life-threatening injuries, including deep stab wounds and lacerations. It provides immediate response to catastrophic blood loss, stabilising the casualty at the scene or on the battlefield for transport to further medical care. The kit pouches contain the same kit contents as the weatherproof kit boxes but without the box’s bulk.
